The construction of the orangery

At the heart of this build is a bespoke steel substructure. This provides exceptional strength and allows for wider glazed areas without bulky supports. The result is a clean, modern look with plenty of uninterrupted glass.

Above, a bespoke steel roof with warm deck insulation helps keep heat inside the home. Warm deck insulation reduces heat loss by keeping the structure thermally efficient, which means lower energy bills and a more comfortable room. Cedar cladding finishes the exterior beautifully, with its light wood tones sitting naturally among surrounding trees and planting.

The Origin OB36 Soho doors

The Origin OB36 Soho doors add a contemporary feel while keeping sightlines slim. Made from aluminium, they are strong yet refined, allowing large glass panels that flood the room with light.

Styled as French doors, they open outwards from the centre and can be used together or independently. This flexibility is perfect for everyday use, while the wide glass panels frame views of the greenery around the orangery and help blur the line between inside and out.

Roof lantern

The roof lantern is the cherry on the cake for this project. Supplied by Ultrasky, it draws natural light from every angle and transforms how the space feels throughout the day.

Its aluminium construction provides long-term durability, while self-cleaning glass helps keep maintenance to a minimum. More daylight also means less reliance on artificial lighting, which is a simple way to save energy over time.
