Attractive heritage flush casement windows

Our clients, the Barkers chose Heritage flush casement windows for their sleek and understated aesthetic. They opted for cream colouring to suit the property’s distinct style. Due to the size of the property and the desire for a complete refurbishment, the flush casement windows totalled 30 units. Both ground floor and first floor windows were replaced and the property now looks fresh and revitalised.

Composite, stable, French and bi-fold doors

The size of the Barker’s property meant that there were several entrances, all of which required replacement doors. For the front and back door, they opted for Painswick Solidor composite doors. Solidor are one of the leading manufacturers of high performing composite doors. Their 48mm solid timber core provides excellent thermal insulation while their multi-point locking system with 3-star Ultion cylinder provides some of the highest levels of security available today.

To match the two composite entrance doors, the Barker’s chose a Solidor stable door in Painswick for access to another part of their home. Painswick grey is a soft and understated colour. Named after the pale grey limestone used in the Cotswold town of Painswick, Painswick composite doors are the perfect accompaniment to a classy architectural aesthetic.

At the rear of the property, some stylish Heritage French doors were installed to give access to the main property while a set of three cream aluminium bi-fold doors were chosen to replace the existing poor quality uPVC bi-folds. The new doors have transformed the Barker’s property to create a stylish and usable space all year round.

Ultraframe orangery roof

To complete the installation and ready the property for the Barker’s retirement, we installed a new cream Ultraframe orangery roof. The stylish skylight has given the orangery a new lease of life, allowing an abundance of natural light to flood into the property. Inside, the raised lantern roof creates a feeling of height to give a spacious and airy ambience.
