Heritage flush windows and doors

To help complement the traditional style of the Dewick family’s home, we suggested using Heritage flush windows and flush doors. These windows and doors feature a GRAF weld. To create a GRAF weld, cutting-edge machinery is used during the manufacturing process to push the window frame’s material back in on itself at the corner joint. This means that more of the window’s interior surface is joined to create an extremely strong window. A GRAF weld also creates the distinctive appearance of a natural timber product.

To best suit their home’s aesthetic, the Dewicks opted for an Agate Grey finish for their new windows and doors. Agate Grey is a mid-light grey which is classy and understated. It has the benefit of brightening up a property’s exterior but is more forgiving than brilliant white when it comes to weathering and dirt accumulation.

French patio doors and a range of bespoke windows

For both the rear entrance to the main property and the extension entrance, the Dewicks chose two sets of stylish French doors. Both sets are configured to open out onto their external patio area to maximise internal floor space and create a flowing aspect to the Dewick’s internal living area. Embossed gold coloured handles were chosen to accentuate the high-end appearance.

A variety of sized and shaped windows were required for the property renovation. The slimline heritage windows feature a small upper section with single astragal bar while the glazed area on the gable end of the extension features two small triangular windows and two irregular-shaped polygonal windows at the apex.
