Conservation area luxury

The large rurally located property is situated in the heart of a conservation area not far from Loughborough. As part of the renovation project Green Garden Rooms, our expertise fitted perfectly with the projects’ specific requirements. The owners of the property, the Doolan family wanted an extended living space that they could use all year round which was directly linked to their large exterior area.

For the extension, the Doolans wanted to incorporate a large amount of glass into the extension to maximise natural light intake without compromising security. After discussing various design options with both the client and the main contractor, we decided that a contemporary orangery with high performing Ultrasky roof would be the best match for the project requirements.

To match the impressive dimensions of the Doolan’s property, the orangery was 5m x 4m in size. An Ultraspan integrated goalpost was used to support the triple track aluminium sliding patio doors while the Super-Insulated columns create a stylish contemporary appearance while helping to boost thermal performance.

To complete the installation, a three tier flat cornice integrates perfectly with the orangery’s overall design perfectly complementing the chosen colour of RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey.
