Mark Jefford, from Holme Pierrepont in Nottinghamshire, was looking to enhance his home by improving the insulation, making it more comfortable and energy-efficient. When the time came for Mr. Jefford to start his home improvements he came straight to Lifestyle Windows. To complement the traditional style of the Jefford family’s home, we suggested using Heritage flush windows and flush doors. Heritage flush windows and doors are designed to replicate the period aesthetic. Their flush finish is elegant and understated and works well on both traditional and more contemporary homes.
Our flush windows and doors feature a GRAF weld. To create a GRAF weld, cutting-edge machinery is used to push the window frame’s material back in on itself at the corner joint. This means that more of the window’s interior surface is joined to create an extremely resilient and strong window.
To further compliment the home’s traditional aesthetic, Mr Jefford chose a classic cream finish for his windows and doors. This cream colour is a firm favourite amongst homeowners as it is timeless and lends itself well to a variety of property styles. It still has the ability to brighten up a home’s exterior whilst being slightly more understated than a brilliant white finish.
Energy efficiency and maintenance
uPVC windows are low maintenance, have impressive insulation values, and are able to reduce energy and heating costs. Our Heritage flush windows boast an amazing A+ energy rating which made them the ideal choice for Mr Jefford whose goal was to improve his home’s insulation. It’s also worth noting that uPVC frames are notoriously easy to keep clean. A simple wipe over with a damp cloth will reveal that newly-fitted finish every time.
