Classic George Barnsdale factory finished timber windows and doors

To ensure that their home retained its charming period style, we used a selection of George Barnsdale timber windows and doors to match the classic aesthetic of the timber beams on the main property. The window and door frames were painted in brilliant white to match the property’s white painted façade and classic black hardware was chosen to complement the darker woodwork and guttering on the main property.

The stylish French doors open out onto a small patio area to maximise interior floor space while both the windows and doors sit on a stone fronted dwarf wall which was designed to fit in with the lower section of the main property. At the top of both the six large windows and the French doors there are smaller windows with astragal bars to tie in with the windows on the original building.

The Bexon family wanted to create a room which was bright and airy and also thermally efficient and usable all year round. We recommended a LivinROOM roof from Ultraframe would be the best fit for their requirements.

As the conservatory was unusually shaped, the LivinROOM roof was perfect thanks to its customisation capacity. The roof was designed to perfectly fit into the existing property’s dimensions and its stylish multi-faceted roof attracted the sunlight from several directions.
