A Full Home Transformation

This project went far beyond a simple replacement. With 35 individual installations across the property, it required careful planning and coordination from start to finish. Every new window and door needed to work in harmony with the home’s distinctive façade, ensuring the improvements felt like a natural part of the building rather than an add-on.

The team managed the process from survey to completion, delivering a consistent finish throughout the entire property. The result is a home that looks refreshed without losing any of its charm.

George Barnsdale Timber Windows

Alongside the windows, we also installed seven timber door sets, all crafted by George Barnsdale to the same high standards. These included the main entrance door, French doors, and rear access doors, each designed to complement the look and layout of the property.

As with the windows, the doors are made from engineered timber, giving them strength and stability while reducing the risk of warping over time. A factory-applied coating system ensures the finish remains smooth and protected against the elements, keeping maintenance demands low.

Security was a key part of the specification, with the doors fitted with robust multi-point locking systems and high-quality hardware. This gives the homeowners peace of mind without compromising the traditional look of the property.

Finished in Farrow & Ball Old White, the doors tie seamlessly into the overall design, matching the windows and enhancing the soft, heritage character of the brickwork. The result is a set of doors that feel solid in use, provide year-round performance, and complete the consistent aesthetic across the home.

Farrow & Ball Old White

To complete the installation, all windows and doors were factory finished in Farrow & Ball’s Old White (No. 4), with a Silent White Pael finish used internally. This subtle colour choice softens the appearance of the frames and complements the warm tones of the brickwork, achieving a timeless aesthetic that suits the age and character of the home.

Because the finish was applied in factory conditions, it not only looks flawless but also provides long-lasting protection against the elements.
